In this Joinwatch.me review, I want to show you one of my latest purchases, a “custom” Rolex replica, inspired by one of Bamford Watch Department's creations. I've seen a growing interest in this kind of watches lately, especially Rolex and especially black ones and it's somewhat understandable, I see that Rolex Milgauss blue everywhere nowadays. That's why I get this trend to some extent, but I find many of them quite unappealing. The Bamford Milgauss replica is not one of them, so I wanted to give it a go.

Quality: Are These Watches Any Good?

Well, this is the first Rolex replica of its kind that ever touched my wrist, so I can't really generalize, but this one in particular is not that great.
There are many small flaws on the dial like the very poor crown logo and the writing (spacing is all wrong), but the real issue here is the scratched coating.
In case you're not that familiar with the Bamford Milgauss replica, it's an all-black watch. They coat the stainless steel with a protective black layer, sometimes of good quality, sometimes… well, just look at the picture above.
Weight is a little off too, it weights a tad under 140 grams, which is about 20 grams lighter than the original.
Somewhat surprisingly, considering the aesthetics, this Milgauss replica keeps time pretty well. It is powered by an Asian automatic movement of some sorts, but it does its job in a decent manner.

The Site: Usability and Design

In case you haven't realized by now (and who can blame you?), this is not the first time I wrote about this website. I wrote about them about a year ago, and they were called Joinwatch.com instead of “.me” ( read the review here ).
The homepage looks much better than last time, when it looked like puke after eating Crayolas for a full week, three times a day. Kidding aside, I can see some improvement, but not a whole lot, especially with functionality.
Instead of random pics at the bottom, they could have put the brands there, it would had been much more user friendly if you ask me.
Pictures are their own, but the Rolex replica above looked much better on the website. I don't know what to say about it, maybe it was sent back by someone else and they didn't fix it properly, who knows?

Service: Is Their Staff Any Good?

Unfortunately, the live chat feature is not functional anymore and frankly, it's a pity because their email replying time is not that great and let's face it, it's much more satisfying to talk in real time.

Shipping: Is It Fast and Reliable?

Shipping's free and I received the Milgauss Bamford replica in about two and a half weeks. They offer paid shipping too, with lower expected shipping time.

Return Policy: Is It Reasonable?

Really shady to begin with. They have code lines everywhere and it's very hard to understand the return policy. From what I could tell, things aren't much different from the last time – 180 days guarantee, but nothing about refunds.
I sent them an email with some pictures attached and they didn't want to send me a refund, they kept insisting that I was the one that damaged the watch.
Usually, I'd call the bank at this point, but I didn't have the energy. I just kept the Rolex replica, I'm dying to know how long this coating will last.

The Bottom Line

Summing up this Joinwatch.me review, my advice is to look for your favorite replica somewhere else. Their merchandise is not that great and they can't even back it up by a decent return policy.
